I find the chance to work with students and facilitate their own intellectual interests to be amongst the most rewarding aspects of teaching. More than just paying forward the invaluable assistance my own mentors provided to me, however, I find myself constantly challenged and inspired by my students. I am a member of the Faculty Mentoring Program at CSUSM, and taught Introdcution to Cultural Anthropology in conjunction with Freshman Success Program at SDSU.
